This policy explains how WAK Digital Marketing (“we”, “us”), based in Peace River, Alberta, Canada, collects, uses and protects personal information through wakdigitalmarketing.com. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

- To reply to your enquiry and prepare quotes or proposals.
- To deliver services you have hired us for.
- To send our newsletter, only if you subscribed. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, in line with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run this website and our communications, including our web host (Hostinger), our email marketing tool (Hostinger Reach), Calendly for scheduling, Google Fonts for typography, and WhatsApp, Google and Microsoft services for communication. These providers may store or process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
Cookies
The website uses a small number of cookies and browser storage items needed for it to work, such as remembering that you closed a pop-up. Embedded tools like Calendly may set their own cookies. If we add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and client information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law, and then delete it securely.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw consent to marketing emails, or ask us to delete it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
